Making Space for Girls in Sports
Did you know that by age 14, girls drop out of sports at twice the rate of boys?
We are here to change that statistic. Keeping girls engaged in athletics provides life-long benefits, including stronger self-confidence, powerful leadership skills, and improved mental health.
We are proud to be the only football program offering this kind of dedicated, mentorship and development - no additional cost.

How Our Program Works
We are incredibly proud of our thriving co-ed teams, where girls compete and excel in weekly league play.
Along with our co-ed program, our long-term vision is to one day launch a dedicated, standalone all-girls league.
To help build toward that goal, female athletes are exclusively invited to join our Girls Development & Mentorship Program.
Throughout the season, they come together for specialized training with our Females in Flag coach, focusing on skill development, mentorship, and fun.
As our community expands, we plan to field dedicated girls' teams to compete in outside tournaments. Today, this program provides a highly supportive space for girls to connect, build comfort on the field, and bring that fierce confidence straight back to their co-ed teams.
Building for the Future
Flag football is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world for women.
Starting in the 2027–28 season, women’s flag football is officially joining U SPORTS as a varsity sport across Canada!
This historic addition makes flag football the 24th national championship sport under the U SPORTS banner and aims to build a direct recruitment pipeline toward the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.
Each group of our athletes builds on the past, making our program even better for the future.
